Students will complete classroom instruction by reviewing course materials, patient care principles, anatomy and physiology, infection control, communication, healthcare ethics, and workplace expectations to build the knowledge needed for hands-on training.

Students will participate in hands-on skills training to develop essential nursing assistant competencies, including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, patient transfers, mobility assistance, personal hygiene, proper body mechanics, infection prevention, and emergency response techniques.

Following successful completion of classroom instruction and skills training, students will participate in supervised clinical experiences at a partnering healthcare facility. During clinicals, students apply their knowledge by providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing professionals.
